Bart Dillashaw is the founder of the Dillashaw, LLC law firm, where he practices general corporate and securities law. Bart primarily works with private companies on general corporate and transactional matters, including formation, equity financings, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Bart represents venture capital and angel investors on investments in high growth companies.
Bart is also actively engaged in the angel and venture capital community in Nebraska and is an active board member of the Nebraska Angels, Nebraska’s largest and most active angel investment group. Bart is a mentor for the Pipeline entrepreneurship program and the NMotion accelerator; he is also a member of the advisory board of the Entrepreneurship Clinic at the University of Nebraska College of Law. In addition, Bart serves as the 2016 Chair of the Securities Division of the Nebraska State Bar Association.
Bart has spoken at local and national conferences on angel investing, including at the Angel Capital Association's annual summit and South By Southwest. Bart was selected as one of the Midlands Business Journal's 2014 class of "40 Under 40", and he was a nominee for Service Provider of the Year at the 2012, 2013, and 2014 Silicon Prairie News Awards and won the award in 2015.
Bart serves on the Board of Directors of Nitride Solutions, Inc., a semi-conductor manufacturing company in Wichita, KS producing, high-quality, low-cost, aluminum nitride templates and other materials.
Bart also serves on the Board of Community Services Fund of Nebraska, a charitable organization, providing a platform for workplace donations that allows employees to choose which charities they want to support.
